From Beethoven to the Beatles and Kate Bush, music plays a significant part in almost every funeral. Whether you're holding a service here at Riverstone, in a village hall or beside the grave, we can help to ensure your musical choices are included and played as you wish.

We use an excellent Bose speaker for playing music before, during and after services.

There is no cost to use this equipment - you're welcome to share your playlist with us in advance or simply connect your own device to the speaker, as you prefer.

​You are also very welcome to bring your own instruments and to use our (tuned) upright piano.

Slideshows and videos

We have a large screen (55 inch) here in the hall at Riverstone which we use to share photos and videos during a funeral service. Simply send us your slideshow or videos in advance and we'll ensure they're displayed at the right time during the service. There is no additional cost for using this equipment.

Live-streaming

It's not always possible for people to be able to attend a funeral service in person, but they can still join you in saying goodbye.
We work alongside Funeral-Streaming whose team can livestream a funeral service as it happens, from almost any location, directly to those you'd like to share in the occasion remotely.
`If preferred, you could also choose to take responsibility for live-streaming a service yourself, using Zoom or a similar platform on your own device.

Crematoria

Crematoria have excellent in-house music systems which allow you to pre-choose and programme the music you'd like to play during a service in the chapel. There is no fee for this.
Crematoria chapels also have slideshow and live-streaming facilities available, for which they charge fees depending on the options you choose. We can advise with greater detail depending on the crematorium location you choose, or see their pricelists here.
